Meet Laura Redd

Laura Redd has had a lifelong passion for design. She studied architecture in high school and fell deeply in love with the ability to create. Redd earned her first degree in computer science and programing and a minor in accounting. After getting married, she and her husband moved to Germany, where she studied interior design. After returning, she started working for a Raleigh based design company, Interiors by Royce and Joe in window treatments, remodeling and whole house design.

By 1998, she founded Laura Redd Interiors in Raleigh to begin her design career. After relocating her company to Greensboro in 2003 she worked for other design companies to get the lay of the land, quickly realizing Redd Interiors does design like no one else.  What sets her business apart is Redd’s belief that not every project should be a total removal. Redd gets to know her clients and their style and builds a beautiful room around their key pieces, how they live and what will work for their individual home. She doesn’t design in her style, she creates theirs. Redd creates innovative interiors that express who the client  is and how they live, using fabrics and materials that are family/pet friendly, styles that are current, fresh and fun.
Laura Redd Interiors employs two people, with a professional team of subcontractor's to handle all the construction needs. The firm's services include interior design, remodeling/ renovation and senior community remodeling.

During her spare time, Redd enjoys running, hiking, biking, seeking new music and enjoying exceptional wine. She has two adult daughters. Renee, 26, married, and Kelly, 23, graduate of UNC-Charlotte

Meet Kerstin Leigh

Kerstin earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design with a minor in Professional Decorating from Cazenovia College located in Cazenovia , New York. Following graduation Kerstin got her start at an interior design firm in upstate NY. After getting married to her husband, Kyle, the pair relocated to Greensboro 2017.

Kerstin believes it is important to shape the built environment, based on a client's needs and desires, into a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing but that also fits into their everyday lives. This individualized approach to design provides Kerstin's clients with a space that truly resonates with their personal identities.

Even during her spare time Kerstin likes to draw upon her creative skills. Whether she's refinishing a furniture piece or tiling a kitchen backsplash, Kerstin is always busy working on a project. When she is not harnessing her creativity, Kerstin enjoys the simple things in life such as spending time with friends and family, going for a walk outside on a nice day, and watching movies on the rainy ones!
