Remodeling made easy…Kind of!

I wanted to revisit an earlier blog this week about remodeling:

These tips still hold true, but there’s a bit of a catch. The catch is the cost of product and availability of appliances, bath and kitchen fixtures, and light fixtures. These changes can affect your budget and the length of time it will take to do your remodel. Be sure to speak with your remodeler about timelines and product availability. For my company, we don’t begin the project until all product is in my warehouse and ready to go. This allows us to control the costs as much as possible.

Another thing to consider is the availability of all the sub-contractors, especially painters. Because they are the final step to the project, check in to be sure they have been contacted and a timeline has been determined with a completion date. These small steps make all the difference on the road to a successful remodel.

Follow the 3 easy steps for a successful remodel, have some flexibility with your budget if you can, and plan ahead. These will make your remodel as painless as possible!
